Diverse New Clients Spark Ideas That Trigger

There's extra buzz at Trigger Communications & Design Ltd. this summer as the marketing communications firm has attracted several new clients.

Pigsback.com, a hugely successful online rewards and loyalty portal introduced in Ireland in 2000 and the U.K. in 2005, has chosen Trigger to introduce the website to Canadian consumers, with Calgary as the launch market.

Agency staffers are also embarking on brand development projects for Bob Dale Gloves, an Edmonton-based manufacturer and wholesaler of gloves and other working apparel, Rubicon Pharmacies LP in Western Canada, and the Percival Ford Lincoln dealership in Regina, SK.

And advertising campaigns are being worked on for the Calgary Fringe Festival, Calgary Drop-in & Rehab Centre and Science Alberta Foundation, who have all recently partnered with Trigger.

In addition, the Alberta Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission (AADAC) has renewed its recruitment advertising contract with Trigger, following an agency review that involved a request for proposals.

Trigger's President, Larry Bannerman, said his team was feeling "pumped" at these account wins, and the flow of ideas, passion and energy being generated would rub off on existing clients too.

"We're very excited at being awarded these projects," he said. "Our branding expertise and experience, as well as our reputation for creativity, have attracted these clients to Trigger."

ABOUT TRIGGER COMMUNICATIONS & DESIGN LTD.

Trigger provides a high-quality, integrated range of communications and design services to clients across Canada.

The name Trigger was conceived from the belief that to impact our clients' business results, we needed to create compelling communications that would trigger a response.

Through ideas that trigger, we evoke an emotion, create a reaction and motivate a response to our clients' messaging. We go beyond traditional advertising, generating ideas that will build our clients' businesses - through guerrilla marketing, operational initiatives, PR stunts and events.

From our Calgary offices, we offer strategic counsel, branding, research, advertising (print, TV, radio, Internet, outdoor), media planning/buying, writing/editing, graphic design, interactive design, direct marketing, and media and public relations.

Our work has earned numerous awards at local, national and international levels. In 2007, this includes 10 Anvils at the Ad Rodeo (including Best of Show), two Silvers and a Certificate at the Marketing Awards, eight accolades in the Applied Arts Annual, and three finalist placements in the Advertising & Design Club of Canada's annual show.
