Staffing Boost for Trigger

CALGARY, AB – OCTOBER 4, 2007 Following a series of new business wins, Trigger Communications & Design Ltd. has staffed up in its client services and creative departments.

Joining as Account Supervisor is Jason Morton, who has relocated to Calgary from Winnipeg, where at McKim Cringan George he worked with clients such as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Manitoba Lotteries Corporation, HudBay Minerals and Granny’s Poultry, to name a few. Jason’s fiancée, Jayme Doll, is the new weekend TV news anchor for Global Calgary.

Two other new faces in client services are Account Coordinators Leanne Rutherford and Megan Rokosh.

Leanne graduated from the University of Michigan and apprenticed with the Minnesota Wild before returning "home” to Calgary. A keen tennis player, she went through school on a full scholarship for the sport.

Megan is a graduate of the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. She spent a year in Mexico on a student exchange and was also a member of the Team Canada Softball Program.

Bringing their talents to Trigger’s creative team are Cathy Hockenhull and Cameron Benedict. Cathy, a Senior Designer with seven years’ experience, joins us from WILLIAM JOSEPH, where she worked on projects for a wide range of clients including the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, Shell Canada and Chevron.

Cameron, a Designer, graduated from the Visual Communications program at the Alberta College of Art + Design earlier this year, and has returned to Calgary after travelling through China, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Rounding out our recent new hires is Sarah Coates, Production Coordinator, formerly with printing firm Sundog, and a graduate of the SAIT Digital Graphics Communications Program.

Larry Bannerman, President, commented that these appointments had been made to augment Trigger’s growing reputation for outstanding strategic thinking, creativity and customer service.“Our excellence in these three key areas is what differentiates us from other agencies,” he said.
